TOBA TEK SINGH: Kamalia Sadr Police Monday registered cases against two prayer leaders of two mosques of Chak 669/10 GB on a charge of violating a ban on using loudspeakers. No arrest has so far been made.
CLOTH SHOP LOOTED: Dacoits took away cloth worth lakhs of rupees. Two dacoits entered the shop of Tariq Mahmood in Sadr Bazaar of Kamalia and loaded cloth onto their car at gunpoint and sped away.

Man dies, four injured in Toba accident

TOBA TEK SINGH: A man died while four others injured in an accident on Kamalia-Chichawatni Road near Kamalia on Monday. A bus was on its way when it collided with a donkey-cart due to over speeding. As a result, Rana Muhammad Wasil died on the spot while Muhammad Waqar, Muhammad Arshad, Riaz Ahmad and Shamshad Ali, who were sitting on the donkey-cart, received injuries. The injured were shifted to THQ Hospital Kamalia.
COMMITS SUICIDE: A man committed suicide here on Monday.Muhammad Awais, a watchman of a private educational institute on Jhang Road, ended his life by shooting himself. The motive behind the incident is said to be financial problems.
